What is this department?

The team responsible for how Evans Baroque’s products and story reach the people who need them – from brand strategy to the packaging on a pharmacy shelf.

What do they do?

Marketing shapes brand positioning across our full product portfolio, manages specialty and legacy product lines, and leads the national sales teams that bring our products into hospitals, pharmacies, and homes.

Why it matters:

A great medicine that no one knows about doesn’t save any lives. Marketing is the bridge between our factory floor and the family reaching for relief at 2am.

What you should know:

This team includes Marketing Managers overseeing Speciality and Legacy product lines, Brand Managers, Product Managers, and digital marketers driving brand and product performance – a mix of strategic and field-facing roles.

What is this department?

The commercial engine that drives Evans Baroque’s growth – building the partnerships and distribution relationships that get our products where they need to be.

What do they do?

This team manages business development, distributor and wholesale relationships, and the commercial strategy behind our expanding portfolio, working closely with Marketing’s national sales structure.

Why it matters:

Manufacturing capacity means nothing without a commercial engine to move product into the hands of distributors, hospitals, and pharmacies across Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

What you should know:

Led by our Head of Business, with National Sales Managers (Specialty and Legacy) and Business Managers driving regional and channel-specific growth.

What is this department?

The guardians of our WHO/GMP, NAFDAC, and PCN standards – the team that stands between every batch and your pharmacy shelf.

What do they do?

Quality Assurance oversees quality control, regulatory compliance, and the testing protocols that ensure every product meets global manufacturing standards before it’s released.

Why it matters:

In pharmaceuticals, “close enough” isn’t good enough. This team is the reason Evans Baroque is one of only four WHO-prequalified facilities in Nigeria.

What you should know:

Structured with dedicated Quality Control and Quality Compliance managers alongside a Regulatory Officer – a department for people who take precision personally.

What is this department?

The technical backbone keeping our 8.3-hectare Agbara facility running – from production machinery to the utilities that power it.

What do they do?

Engineering Services manages mechanical, electrical, and utility systems across our manufacturing plants, ensuring equipment uptime and facility integrity.

Why it matters:

Manufacturing 4.5 billion tablets a year doesn’t happen without engineers who understand every system that keeps the plant running.

What you should know:

Reports through our Engineering Services Manager, with dedicated Mechanical, Electrical & Utility Managers – hands-on, technically rigorous work.

What is this department?

The team physically making our medicines – from tablets and liquids to capsules, creams, and our flagship Glucose D powder.

What do they do?

Production runs our Pharma and Nutraceutical manufacturing lines, overseeing the formulation-to-packaging process across every product category we manufacture.

Why it matters:

This is where nearly 70 years of combined pharmaceutical heritage becomes something real – a tablet, a bottle, a sachet that ends up in someone’s hand.

What you should know:

Includes our Factory Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager (Nutraceuticals), and Pharma Production Officers – a department built around precision and process discipline.

What is this department?

The logistics team ensuring raw materials come in, finished products go out, and nothing along the way compromises quality or timing.

What do they do?

Supply Chain manages procurement and the end-to-end logistics that connect our Agbara warehouse to distributors, wholesalers, and hospitals across our markets.

Why it matters:

A perfectly manufactured product stuck in a warehouse helps no one. This team is why Evans Baroque products reach families across Africa, not just Agbara’s front gate.

What you should know:

Led by our Supply Chain Manager, with a dedicated Procurement Manager – a department for people who think in systems and timelines.

What is this department?

The financial stewards ensuring Evans Baroque’s growth is sustainable, disciplined, and built to last.

What do they do?

Finance manages the company’s accounting, financial planning, and fiscal oversight – the discipline behind every expansion decision Evans Baroque makes.

Why it matters:

Growing toward a broader product portfolio and deeper African reach takes more than ambition – it takes financial discipline most companies underestimate.

What you should know:

Led by our Head of Finance, supported by Senior Accountants – a department for those who want their precision to directly shape company strategy.

What is this department?

The team that builds and supports the people behind every product Evans Baroque makes.

What do they do?

HR & Admin manages recruitment, personnel development, and workplace health and safety – including a dedicated HSE Officer safeguarding our manufacturing environment.

Why it matters:

A company built on quality, integrity, and courage needs a team ensuring those values show up in how we treat our own people, not just in our mission statement.

What you should know:

Structured with a Personnel Manager and HSE Officer under our HR/Admin Manager – this team shapes the day-to-day experience of working at Evans Baroque.
