Giga Inj is used for:

• Severe infections due to susceptible organisms including septicemia
• pneumonia
• meningitis.
• Surgical prophylaxis.

Composition

• Ceftriaxone 1g

Dosage

• Infections due to susceptible organisms, by deep IM or IV over 2-4mins or by IV infusion, 1g daily.
• Severe infections 2-4 g/day.
• Surgical prophylaxis, by deep IM or IV infusion over 2-4 mins, 1g on induction.
