Globak syrup

Globak syrup is used to:

• Treat Iron and folic acid deficiency.

Composition

Each 5ml contains:

• Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose 200mg
• Folic acid 1mg

Dosage

Severe anaemia:

• 120 mg (elemental iron) with folic acid 400 µg daily for 3 months
• Prevention of iron and folic acid deficiency in pregnancy:
• 100mg (elemental iron) with 350 – 400 µg folic acid daily throughout pregnancy.
