Giga-S Inj.

Giga-S injection is indicated for use in the treatment of

  • Severe infections due to susceptible organisms including septicaemia
  • pneumonia
  • meningitis.
  • Also used for surgical prophylaxis.

Composition

  • Ceftriaxone 1g
  • Sulbactam 500mg

Dosage

  • By slow IV (2-4mins) or IM, 1.5 (Ceftriaxone 1g + Sulbactam 0.5g) to 3g (Ceftriaxone 2g + Sulbactam 1g) every 6hrs for 7-10 days, depending on infection type and severity.
  • Max sulbactam daily dose = 4g.
