Ravimal Junior is used
- In the treatment of uncomplicated malaria infection caused by all forms of plasmodium including multi-drug resistant strains of P. falciparum
Composition
- Artemether 20mg
- Lumefantrine 120mg
Dosage
For children with body weight ≥15kg to <25kg,
Day 1: 2 tablets initially, then another tablet after 8hrs.
Day 2: 2 tablets morning and evening respectively (12hrs apart).
Day 3: 2 tablets morning and evening respectively (12hrs apart).
For those with body weight ≥ 25kg to <35kg,
Day 1: 3 tablet initially, then another tablet after 8hrs.
Day 2: 3 tablets morning and evening respectively (12hrs apart).
Day 3: 3 tablets morning and evening respectively (12hrs apart).
